Welcome to Cochran County, Texas

Cochran County offices (except Sheriff) will be closed from Noon on Friday, January 23, 2026 for severe winter weather conditions. Offices may continue to be closed until Tuesday, January 27th. Please call ahead before traveling for your county business.

  • Cochran County Commissioners will meet in regular session the 2nd business Monday and next-to-last business day of each month. 

    Meetings are held at 8:30am in the Commissioners Courtroom on the 1st floor of the Courthouse. Agendas are posted on the Agendas tab at least 3 days prior. Our citizens are always encouraged to attend.
